Stamping

Caparo plays a significant role today in the Indian automotive market with its expertise in value-added steel and metal formation. With CML and CEIL, Caparo has emerged as the manufacturer of choice for leading OEMs in Passenger Vehicles, Commercial Vehicles, Off-highway (Tractor) and Construction Equipment segments, with its end-to-end solutions in design, development and manufacturing of stamping parts and assemblies. The major product line of Stamping business includes Skin panels, BIW parts and assemblies, Long members, Air Tank Assy., Oil pan Assy. etc.  

Fasteners

Established in 2005 at Chopanki (Bhiwadi), Rajasthan, Caparo’s fasteners division is among the market leaders in fasteners technology in India.

As a specialist in in-house manufacturing of a wide range of high-tensile standard and special fasteners, the division has established itself as a reliable supplier of fasteners to almost all the Automobile OEMs in the country and their manufacturing locations abroad.

Steel Tubes

As a part of CEIL’s offering, Caparo produces one of the widest ranges of precision steel tubes available in the Indian market today. Caparo’s precision carbon & alloy steel ERW and CDW tubes are manufactured for an array of applications, and in a range of strengths and dimensional specifications. The tubes manufactured by Caparo are used in high performing auto components used across all segments of the auto industry. Some of the major components where Caparo tubes are preferentially used are shock absorbers, steering shaft tubes, side impact beams, gas springs, tubular cross members, etc.

Based in Dewas, where it acquired a 30-year-old established steel tube business to start manufacturing tubes of Indian and international standards, Caparo’s tubes division reaches out to its OEMs and customers through its wide network of warehouse agents and suppliers spread across the country

Power

Established in 2008, Caparo Power Ltd. (CPL), one of the few Gas—RLNG—based plants in India, pioneered the professional model for a group captive power plant. In technical collaboration with Finland-based energy major Wartsila, CPL supplies uninterrupted electricity through its own HT network of underground cables to key industries in Bawal IMT, Haryana and focuses on being a long-term independent power producer of gas-based power in India. CPL is also committed to exploring new avenues within the clean and renewable power industry segment in India.
